Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting in coordinating the month-end closing process, and various projects as needed. The position also serves as a Level 1 support technician between the division and the corporate IT and IS groups. The position may also provide local support for various ERP functions. Serves as a liaison between divisional staff, the Controller and the IT/IS department.

Job Duties

• Prepares journal entries
• Maintains account reconciliations
• Reviews statistical reports
• Communicates with controller to ensure an efficient & timely close process
• Assists with Sarbanes-Oxley and financial statement audits as well as budget preparation
• Document processes and procedures for the accounting department
• Assist in year-end physical inventory process
• Back-up and support to accounts payable function and accounts receivable function

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
• Skilled at statistical analysis
• Ability to collect and consolidate data from multiple locations and systems
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-3 years of related experience
