The Opportunity:

The Financial Analyst 2 will compile, organize, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to customer service for LG Electronics Alabama Inc. (LGEAI), a global electronics company. You will operate independently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Under general supervision, you will follow managerial direction to support the preparation of business reports for top management, providing key insights into each project and task. This role involves performing operational analysis by gathering, measuring, and analyzing data and trends for departmental operations, activities, and projects. The position requires delivering meaningful outcomes through data analysis in customer service operations. You must understand the variables impacting business operation variance and develop tactical responses. Accurate business operational forecasts are essential to enhancing the quality of customer service.

Qualifications:



  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis and/or break-even analysis for various assignments by Financial Planning (FP&A) Team leader to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Building new/improving existing accounting processes to ensure data integrity and efficient analyses
  • Providing financial analysis to prioritize and lead cost reduction efforts
  • Providing analytical support for staffing optimization initiatives
  • Create financial and cost models from scratch to complete sound recommendations
  • Sourcing, analyzing, and reporting quantitative data; perform ad hoc analysis
  • Analyzing trends, formulating projections, and evaluating savings initiatives
  • Developing monthly/quarterly financial reporting (actual and forecast) and annual budgeting
  • Provide fact-based insights into variances and trends
  • Educating, communicating, and partnering with site leadership
  • Work with functional leaders and other finance functions to build scalable financial processes and metrics


Education/Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in business related field. Preferred 3 years minimum of work experience in data analytics / data management position utilizing an ERP system.
  • Minimum of 3 years working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with knowledge of pivots, VLOOKUP, tables, charts, trend analysis etc.
  • Bilingual Korean/English
