Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of electrical distribution and control products within the Electrification Smart Buildings group in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities to our commercial and industrial customers.
While this is a full remote position, successful candidates should be located in greater Minneapolis, MN area.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the Midwestern United States.
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned electrical contractors and end users, at all levels of their organizations.
*Plan and implement sales strategies to maximize market share and margin; motivate Electrical Contractors and end users to prefer ABB Industrial Solutions over the competition.
*Perform analysis on hit-rate data and provide market feedback to business and sales leadership.
*Introduce new products via technical presentations to existing customer base and identify target customers

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college or GED with 8+ years sales experience.
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience.
  • Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling multi-family projects to electrical contractors.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
