Overview Milbank LLP is seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and motivated individual for the role of Conflicts Analyst in the Conflicts Department, supporting the firm globally, and working alongside the Legal Risk & Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to assist attorneys with their compliance responsibilities by analyzing data associated with potential new business and new employees, while contributing to the success of the Firm. The Conflicts Analyst will work closely with Conflicts Attorneys, members of the Office of the General Counsel, the Legal Risk and Compliance team, the Conflicts Team, and various other firm administrative departments to identify possible ethical and business-related conflicts of interest while assisting in the processing of new business intake forms and other information to ensure new business intake requests and candidates meet Firm policies as well as regulatory and business requirements. Please note this role can be fully remote in the NY tristate area and/or DC area. The office hours are 9amEST-5pmEST. Responsibilities
Respond to calls, emails, and workflow requests from Firm attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries regarding the new business intake process.
The anticipated base salary range offered for this role will be between $75,000 to $95,000 and represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base compensation range. Actual base compensation will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, performance, qualifications, degrees, and location, as well as the needs of the firm.
