DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will engage in specialized tasks across multiple trades, primarily concentrating on the repair and upkeep of machinery, structures, bridges, and equipment. Knowledge of carpentry, welding, masonry, electrical systems, and plumbing are beneficial to this position. You will also be required to handle equipment related to repair tasks, with training being provided. You will also be responsible for fostering positive relationships with fellow team members while ensuring that workspaces remain clean and organized.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Work hours are subject to change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs.
  • This position may require travel, overtime and shift work.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,785 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or
  • Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirements:
  • This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
