Position Summary

**WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION FROM ALL STUDENTS

SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, assists with performances and
rehearsals in the Department of Music's Keller Hall. Shift hours will typically be during performance hours (evenings and weekends)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Front-of-house
duties: ticket taking, ushering, distributing programs, regulating student
attendance, adhering to fire safety code.
Backstage
duties: locking and unlocking Keller Hall, setting the stage and carrying
out set changes (including moving piano, shell and chairs), clearing and
maintaining the Hall.
Assist
with performances and rehearsals.
Assist
with merchandise sales.
May
operate light and sound equipment.
May
supervise and train other staff.
Other
job-related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability
to lift 40 lbs.
Background
in Music.
Knowledge
of concert practices and procedures.
Organized
and reliable, with great interpersonal skills.
