From your PASSION to ours The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager plays a critical leadership role in shaping a safe and compliant workplace by driving environmental health and safety initiatives. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns, implement proactive solutions, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to ensure regulatory compliance, deliver impactful training programs, and provide strategic insights to support operational excellence. From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Serve as a role model by upholding and promoting all company EHS standards. - Build strong relationships with management and employees to foster a culture of safety. - Participate in operational meetings to discuss workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory concerns. - Lead Employee Safety Committee, encouraging collaboration and proactive safety measures. - Promote the Safety Observation process to increase the quantity and quality of safety conversations. - Conduct facility inspections and audits to identify and correct potential hazards. - Evaluate proposed changes to layouts, processes, and equipment for health and safety implications. - Facilitate investigations of all injuries, illnesses, "near misses" and suggestions. - Support the development and implementation of appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
- Deliver EHS-related training to all employees, including onboarding for new hires and annual trainings. - Maintain well-organized training records and ensure they are always readily available for review.
- Schedule and maintain records of all required inspections and testing. - Submit the First Report of Injury and maintain and submit OSHA logs as required.
