The Department of Behavioral and Community Health Sciences (BCHS) in the School of Public Health, University of Pittsburgh (https://www.bchs.pitt.edu/) invites applications for a part-time Lecturer position for the 2025 spring term.

The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences, Health Education, and/or a related public health field. Prior classroom lecture experience, at an institution of higher learning, is preferred.

Duties:

  • Teach Theories of Health Behavior and Health Education (BCHS 2520), 1 evening per week from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Meet with students beyond the classroom as may be appropriate to their educational needs
  • Provide regular feedback to students in the form of in-class desk critiques, reviews, and graded assignments.
  • Candidates should submit a letter of application and a curriculum vitae.
