We Are Hiring:Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - NICU - PRN/Pool Schedule Details:NNPs work 24 hour shifts ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital's Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a 22-bed facility providing specialized care for critically ill and premature infants born as early as 22 weeks gestation. The NICU recently unveiled a comprehensive renovation emphasizing family-centered care, featuring fully equipped private rooms designed to accommodate families, including those with twins and triplets. The unit is staffed 24/7 by a dedicated team of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and support staff, offering services such as transport, lactation consultation, and post-discharge follow-up clinics. A registered nurse with advanced education and training in care of at-risk and high-risk neonates. Responsible for the nature and quality of nursing care of critically ill neonates.Under the direction of a physician the NNP manages neonatal patients using collaboration, consultation, and direct care. The NNP is involved with the education of nursing staff, residents and students. Including:
