Regional Sales Manager

Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will lead, inspire, and develop a team of Sales Representatives (individual contributors) within the Southern California market, executing the strategies to retain and expand our existing local customer relationships. Additionally, the RSM will have responsibility for pursuing new local customer relationships, including creating a business plan to ensure resources are allocated to maximize opportunities across the market. The position will have oversight for financial sales performance, and ultimately deliver on assigned revenue growth and gross margin objectives. This role is critical in implementing strategic initiatives and is accountable for ensuring a customer-first culture across the market based of service excellence, compliance, and safety. The key to success in this role is to attract, retain and grow local customers.

Responsibilities:



  • Oversee local account revenue generation for assigned market, building and executing plans to retain and grow our local customers
  • Develop and implement scalable plans to attract and secure new local customers
  • Attract, develop, train, and grow a team that accepts aggressive goals along with high standards, and pursues everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish
  • Establish individual revenue targets for Account Managers and manage team performance, communicating openly and transparently about team member expectations and results, and ensuring that appropriate coaching/corrective action is consistently applied
  • Work closely with Operations team to ensure PeopleReady fulfills orders with qualified, reliable associates, and strive to exceed expectations
  • Partner with key local customer leadership in order to ensure satisfaction, jointly identify new opportunities, and ensure long-lasting relationships
  • Create and manage a sales pipeline for local customers and prospects, ensuring CRM tools are used appropriately and consistently
  • Establish and model a culture of accountability, taking responsibility for the outcomes of others and ensuring a "win as a team" success criteria
  • Identify market opportunities and ideal customer profiles; aligning resources as needed in order to achieve revenue targets
  • Lead the team through change in a compelling manner, making it clear "where" we are headed, "why" we are doing it


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; or combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of proven sales management experience with a proven track record in leading teams and developing sales professionals
  • Expertise in shared services and/or staffing industry a plus
  • Strong consultative selling acumen
  • Possesses attributes consistent with TBI's values, excellent judgment, sound business acumen, and the ability to deal with competing demands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Seasoned at giving presentations to a wide range of audiences including customers, employees, and executive teams
  • High level of enthusiasm for building the business and the capacity to overcome obstacles



Salary Range:

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $80,500 and $125,000 per year, plus eligibility for incentive pay subject to plan terms.

Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training and other considerations permitted by law. We consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with applicable law.

Physical and Work Requirements:

Branch work environment with frequent customer interaction, constantly operates a computer, phone, and other office equipment. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds. Valid driver's license and good safety record required for driving to locations. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
