Creative Director - (employer: R/GA Media Group, Inc.; job location: Brooklyn, NY) - Develop and articulate the creative vision for the agency in alignment with client goals and market trends. Collaborate with leadership team to set long-term creative strategies for the studio. Lead and inspire a team of designers, art directors, and other creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Serve as primary point of contact between the studio and clients, understand client needs and expectations, and present creative concepts and solutions to clients while also incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary. Oversee entire creative process from concept to delivery, and ensure completion on time and on budget. Allocate resources, provide constructive feedback to guide the creative team, and stay abreast of industry trends to incorporate novel and innovative approaches into the creative process. Work with Strategy, Production, Client Services and other departments to integrate creative strategies into business objectives, and collaborate with copywriters, motion designers, and other professionals in producing cohesive and impactful creative work. Participate in client pitches and contribute to developing proposals to secure new business. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Advertising, plus three years of experience in the position offered or as a Design Director for an advertising agency. Will accept 3- or 4-year Bachelor’s degree. All required experience must have included applying comprehensive understanding of design principles, typography, color theory and layout in developing user experience and user interface design that align with creative vision for brand’s advertising strategies; working with Fortune 500/Global Fortune 500 clients; performing market trends and competitor analysis to inform design decisions; using Figma tool for collaborative design, version control and file management; incorporating user-centered design thinking into brand design process; working with Illustrator, Photoshop, Brandpad, Figma and After Effects; creating and maintaining brand guidelines to ensure consistency; conducting market research and analyzing consumer behavior; and presenting design concepts and strategies to clients and stakeholders, articulating rationale behind design choices. #LI-DNI. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our Brooklyn, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. Salary: $161,000-$246,000/year.
