Principal, Labor Infrastructure Investments – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Grosvenor Capital Management, LP) – Responsible for investment thesis development, review of financial analysis, due diligence, transaction execution and investment monitoring across the midstream energy, conventional power, renewables, utilities, telecommunications, transportation, and social infrastructure sectors with the following duties: Gather industry research, monitor economic trends, create forecasts and conduct analysis on potential investment opportunities. Review financial models, supporting analysis for infrastructure investment development, and due diligence reports prepared by team staff. Convert market knowledge and due diligence findings into investment recommendations. Present recommendations at/participate in, internal Investment Committee meetings. Negotiate term sheets and other transaction documentation, including financing commitments, credit agreements, indentures and management agreements. Coordinate transaction execution and deal closing process with legal advisors and internal finance team. Manage relationships with bankers, consultants, attorneys, external advisors as well as accounting and tax professionals. Monitor and report on company/portfolio performance and draft investor communications, including periodic updates on company/portfolio performance. Communicate with current and prospective investors about pending investments. Support investor relationship management, including fundraising, ongoing portfolio management and reporting activities. Supervise/train junior investment staff on investment analysis and internal processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting, plus 4 years of experience in the position offered or as an Infrastructure Investment Associate or Analyst. All required experience must have included performing economic research/analysis on supply and demand dynamics, political developments, production forecasts, commodity prices, and infrastructure development projects across the energy/power/utilities sectors; participating in the arrangement of debt financing and negotiation of commercial and legal contracts for potential investments; preparing/drafting investment committee memoranda; and conducting legal analysis of key project documentation including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts, power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, offtake agreements, and public-private-partnership concession agreements. #LI-DNI.
