INVISTA is seeking a Business Development & Licensing Manager to join the Business Development and Marketing team in Kennesaw, GA. This role will support the CORDURA Advanced Fabrics brand, who have been leading the fabrics industry for over 55 years, offering high-performance fabric for apparel and gear. They are a trusted by leading end-use brands and used globally by militaries for protection.

We are looking for a highly strategic Licensing Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and expanding the licensing operations for the CORDURA brand.

A successful applicant will be a strategic thinker with robust analytical and negotiation skills to cultivate and maintain relationships with end-use brands and mill partners, ensuring compliance with all licensing agreements and driving the brand's growth.

What You Will Do
* Licensing Strategy Development:

* Develop and implement strategic licensing initiatives that align with CORDURA business objectives and drive growth.
* Optimize INVISTA's trademark licensing agreement frameworks to minimize opportunity cost and maximize brand value capture.
* Develop royalty pricing and on-product branding strategies in collaboration with business development and commercial teams.
* Explore new global licensing opportunities for brand expansion.

* Contract Negotiation:

* Lead licensing negotiations in collaboration with the business development team with a focus on favorable terms and brand integrity.
* Collaborate with legal teams to draft, review, and finalize contractual agreements.

* Relationship Management:

* Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective end-use brands and certified mill partners.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all licensing inquiries and issues related to the CORDURA brand.

* Compliance and Monitoring:

* Collaborate with legal resources to ensure all licensing activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and brand standards.
* Monitor and enforce compliance with licensing agreements, including royalty payments and reporting requirements.

* Market Analysis:

* Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, the competitive landscape, and potential licensing opportunities.
* Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management.

* Cross-Functional Collaboration:

* Work closely with marketing, business development, commercial, and legal teams to ensure cohesive and effective licensing strategies.
* Provide support and guidance to internal teams on licensing-related matters specific to the CORDURA brand.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, with a strong focus on contract negotiation and relationship management
* Proven experience in brand licensing
* This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead
* Advanced degree in marketing, business, or related field
* Experience within the textile or performance fabrics industry or working with end-use brands in military or consumer gear, apparel, or footwear space
* Understanding of intellectual property law and licensing practices
* International business experience
* Experience leading teams or projects
