Administrative Specialist, Administrative Honors College at Perimeter Alpharetta Campus and/or Clarkston Campus Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:15 PM The Honors College at Perimeter College promotes the academic and personal growth of talented and motivated students by engaging them in a stimulating Honors College curriculum that offers personalized attention, small classes taught by dedicated faculty, and independent research. We are seeking to hire an Administrative Specialist to support these initiatives and enhance the student experience. WHAT MAKES GSU A GREAT PLACE?
HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO Under the direction of the Associate Dean of the Honors College, the Administrative Specialist will deliver high-level administrative and office support to both the Associate Dean and the Honors College unit. This role will be based on either the Alpharetta Campus, the Clarkston Campus, or may involve responsibilities across both locations, ensuring efficient operations and contributing to the college's mission of fostering academic excellence Responsibilities will generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
Qualifications
:
Minimum Hiring Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two years of administrative experience; or a high school diploma or GED and six years of administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Preferred Hiring Qualifications: In addition to the University's minimum qualifications for hire, the successful candidate will have: * Experience as an administrative or executive assistant, preferably in a higher education setting.
