General Information: Hitachi Energy located in Alamo, TN is seeking an Electro Mechanical Repair Technician to join its team. In this position, you will follow safety and work procedures to perform preventative maintenance, routine mechanical and/or electrical repairs on production and processing equipment. The selected candidate will troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and replace electrical and/or mechanical components as necessary to ensure maximum uptime and customer satisfaction and modify equipment as assigned to support a continuous improvement culture. Your Responsibilities:
- Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures including Lock-Out-Tag-Out
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machines and plant equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment and make recommendations to PM program
- Run conduit and pull wire for new machines and equipment.
- Must be able to read/follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings and technical manuals
- Working knowledge of 115 & 480V equipment, how to safely troubleshoot, diagnose and repair
- Troubleshoot/repair systems or equipment such as hydraulic systems, transformers, motors, DC circuitry, PLCs, variable frequency drives, relays, switches, position sensing devices and printed circuit boards
- Monitor and document observations, settings, readings, meters, gauges as required
- Proficient in using common electrical/mechanical devices. Ex. multi-meter, amp-probe, megger, calipers, micrometers, dial indicator
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
- Basic welding and cutting, including acetylene torch, plasma, stick, and brazing
- Secure and complete required department work order documentation
- Responsible for housekeeping in his/her work area and general surroundings
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Your Background:
- Associate's degree in an engineering discipline or industrial maintenance/electrician certificate from an accredited trade school.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
