Carnegie Mellon, one of the world leaders in higher education and research, is seeking a Workplace Safety Specialist to join Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S). We are looking for a dedicated professional to support the Workplace Safety Program within Environmental Health and Safety's day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with the Assistant Director of EH&S in the development, deployment, quality assurance, and training of Workplace Safety Programs that comply with federal, state, and local regulatory obligations and university procedures. You will achieve these goals through collaboration with all EH&S staff in the efficient and integrated delivery of services. Core responsibilities include:
