UMKC supports several residencies and many of our physicians have teaching responsibilities for residents and medical students. Job Description The Department of Community and Family Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, and University Health Physicians seek a full-time board-certified family physician to join our academic program located in a rapidly growing area of Kansas City.We have several clinics in communities across eastern Jackson County. Specifically we are looking for a family physician to join our faculty practice in the Health Science District, Kansas City, MO. This physician will be the anchor for the practice; leading the team, along with 3 experienced APRNs providing Family Medicine care to a diverse and medically underserved population. This is a dynamic practice with a team-based, whole-person approach to care. We practice and teach all components of Family Medicine and have faculty with diverse work experience.
