Job Description
Greenville Montessori School - 822 Laurie Ellis Rd - Winterville, NC - is currently seeking an enthusiastic creative Spanish Language teacher to actively engage students in learning the Spanish language and culture. The Spanish Language teacher works collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide meaningful learning experiences in vocabulary, basic conversation, and Spanish culture to children ages 6-12 years in a Montessori environment.

Candidates should have high integrity, good judgment, and enthusiasm for lifelong learning. They should also possess classroom management and communication skills that foster self-discipline and confidence in young students. A positive outlook, patience, and the ability to successfully and effectively manage a group of children are essential.

This is a 10-month, part-time position. Teaching time would include three to four weekly classes from first through grade six during the school day.

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Preferred candidates:
* Have a deep knowledge of the Spanish language
* Demonstrate a high work ethic and the ability to support student-centered learning
* Are outstanding communicators who can connect with young people
* Are life-long learners who model enthusiasm for learning and an appreciation for the Montessori approach to teaching

Experience teaching Spanish in a classroom setting is preferred but not required.
