The department of Family and Community Medicine.

Job Description

This position supports projects addressing cancer prevention, health behavior change, and rural health research led by faculty members in Family & Community Medicine.

Position requires working with a multidisciplinary team and having excellent problem-solving, communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with a variety of project stakeholders. Specific work tasks include coordinating meetings related to strategic communications and developing wide ranging communications to promote project goals. Additional duties will involve assisting in data collection/data management, project evaluation, and writing reports of project findings. Experience with social media tools, digital and written communications, website development, and capable use of Microsoft Office and Adobe.

Shift

Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. not a remote position

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree, Journalism or Health Sciences

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $16.72-29.10 Hourly
Grade: GGS-007
