What part will you play?

The Field & Fabrications Services Territory Leader is a pivotal role, responsible for leading and developing project operation associates within a designated territory. With a focus on strategy, development, resourcing, implementation, and continuous process improvement, they drive their team's success. Upholding standards and processes that enhance quality, velocity, and efficiency is a key aspect of their responsibilities. They work diligently on continuous improvement, ensuring consistent delivery of products and projects for clients, regardless of their fabrication location. Collaborating with the PMO team and engineering, the Director aligns project operations with client needs and business unit requirements. Reporting to the Vice President of F&FS, they actively contribute to efficient projects that delight customers and achieve business objectives. This role involves effective communication, motivation, mentoring, and adept navigation of the business landscape. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, operations, and client services, ensures seamless execution and alignment in project delivery.

What will you be doing?

Field & Fabrication Services Leadership:



  • Lead and oversee the F&FS team of Directors, Senior Managers, QA Leads, Installation Supervisors, Lead Technicians and Technicians, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Partnership with the with cross functional leaders and support staff.
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget project completion.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement.


Operational Performance and Efficiency:



  • Ensure a strong understanding of F&FS roles and responsibilities and workflows.
  • Collaborate with Standards & Governance to streamline standards, processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs from conversion to closure.
  • Implement and maintain operational strategies of reporting and oversight to optimize efficient project delivery, resource utilization, and profitability. Drive continuous operational excellence.
  • Understand and advise, during the intake meetings, industry standards and incorporate best practices within the business around operations.
  • Collaborate with Workforce Planning to provide appropriate resources for all projects with added diligence applied to cross territory projects, hybrid system projects, multi-discipline projects, and focusing on maintaining resource utilization.
  • Maximize resource utilization throughout Territory and Business to ensure work-load balance and appropriate team composition.


Client Relationship Management:



  • Work closely with the sales team to understand client pipeline, requirements, expectations, and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and customize workplace solutions that enhance their operations, increase productivity, and drive ROI.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with clients throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on project operations, industry trends, and best practices.


Team Collaboration and Development:



  • Foster a collaborative and cross-functional work environment, working with Business Unit leader and peers to ensure cohesive operations, common goals, and consistent results. Promote effective communication and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Work closely with Engineering, PMO, and client services teams to ensure seamless project execution and handoff.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, ensuring alignment and coordination among all stakeholders.
  • Encourage teamwork, professional growth, and development opportunities for project operations staff. Assist in defining and facilitating team and associate training.
  • Promote open communication channels, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and address conflicts or issues that arise among team members, stakeholders, or clients in a timely and effective manner.
  • Drive an inclusive, one-company mindset by breaking down silos, and bridge communication amongst groups.


Team Performance:



  • Empower associates to ensure ownership and accountability of client interactions, projects, timelines, reporting and deliverables.
  • Oversee performance management processes, establish clear expectations and goals, and provide regular coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement. Measure and manage performance.
  • Promote a positive culture of creative thinking to inspire higher standards and a positive work atmosphere.
  • Lead regional office staff, providing strategic direction, guiding decisions, and serving as a resource for associates.
    Financial Management: done
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Monitor project financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • In conjunction with the PMO, Engineering and Business Unit leaders, ensure adherence to budget constraints and profitability targets. Lead post-mortem project reviews.


Special Projects and Initiatives:



  • As directed by F&FS leader, in partnership with Standards & Governance, engage and collaborated cross functionally on special projects and initiatives.


What do we require from you?



  • 7+ years of experience in AV or Media Broadcast Intergration or Project Management or IT Services in a complex organizational environment.
  • 5+ years' experience in progressive leadership role with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project objectives and ability develop strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business management, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading operations teams in the Systems Integration or IT Services industries
  • Strong understanding of AV solutions, command and control solutions, physical security solutions, and/or related Systems Integration technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiency, quality, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in the discovery and prioritization of issues affecting project delivery, to in turn create operational initiatives that once completed successfully, provide value to the company and its associates.
  • Proven ability to build and manage high performing teams, lead individual and team performance and achieve results.
  • Excellent planning, communication, negotiation, change management, and client management skills.
  • Results-oriented with demonstrated success in strategic & tactical problem solving, collaboration, conflict management and working successfully within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong business and financial acumen. Experienced in budget building, management, and control.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CTS)

Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience depending on the position offered, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
