Job Summary

The Sr. Analyst Financial Systems is a critical component of the H-D's SAP Support Group. The position serves as the second level of support for functional users. The Sr. Analyst Financial Systems is involved in process improvements that leverage our SAP system, system configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and training activities, all aimed at business process and system optimization. This position will serve as a liaison with IT and is involved in the global rollout of the Company's SAP Financials application. This position utilizes background experience in Finance along with a detailed understanding of the SAP mechanics mainly in the Product Costing and Workflow space to assist our end user community.

Job Responsibilities

* Support the business with SAP functionality

* Provide guidance to SAP capabilities when improvements to processes are requested; problem solving incidents or system related issues along with investigating and testing solutions

* Work constructively with other business-system owners and IT to resolve interface issues and implement suggested improvements

* Monitor and analyze business processes to optimize the use of SAP

* Support major SAP go-lives and upgrade projects

* Serve as a primary training contact for SAP application in finance; develop training materials that support major system changes or additions

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or other related degree relevant to this position is preferred.

CPA or MBA a plus.

Experience Requirements

* This role typically requires at least three (3) years of combined Finance and SAP experience.

* Relevant experience working with SAP systems support including a combination of practical knowledge of accounting and finance, as well as practical knowledge of Global Information Systems

* Experience in formal application testing and incident handling procedures

* Hands-on experience with at least one full cycle SAP implementation

* Understanding high level business process integration of finance, sales, materials, and manufacturing

* Understanding of the Product Costing and Workflow configuration including Material Ledger

* SAP Automotive Industry Solution experience desired

* A strong team player that can interact effectively with all levels of the organization
