Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $48,600 - Midpoint: $60,800 (Salaried E7) Department/Organization: 508102 - Bus Admin for Const & Physical Plt Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Job Summary: The Accountant I prepares, reconciles, and audits budgets under general supervision. Prepares financial reports, invoices, schedules, and/or statements. Completes journal entries. Reviews, analyzes, and approves expenditures. Determines fund balances. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, University policies, and procedures. Additional Department Summary: The Accountant I will assist management with the Facilities and Construction departments operating budgets and related accounting functions. This process includes reporting and conducting research as necessary, as this position works with a variety of stakeholders across campus. This position will also be responsible for the processing/entering vendor utility bills in the EnergyCap utility software. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related financial field. Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in working with personal computers and standard application software.
