The Role:
Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Procurement Analyst Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing procurement processes and ensuring the timely acquisition of materials & services necessary for efficient manufacturing operations. Your analytic skills will support strategic decision-making and drive cost-effective and value-driven procurement strategies.

What You'll Do:

• Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on procurement performance, supplier metrics, and cost analysis for senior management.
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities and supplier performance.

What We Seek:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel functions and formulas: sumif, xlookup, nested if statements, etc.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Ability in Power BI data modeling and visualization a plus
• Previous experience working in an analytic role

Eligibility:

• Must be a currently enrolled student.
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May or June through mid-August or September
• Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in an internship program.

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

Data Analytics or similar field of study, graduating in December 2025 or later

Compensation: $20-$31 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
