The SVP of Infrastructure Products & Services will own and execute the end-to-end product lifecycle for Equinix's infrastructure portfolio, including Colocation and Managed Solutions, from visioning to execution. This leader will drive an integrated infrastructure platform, fostering close alignment, shared vision, and accountability across products. They will work closely with operations, sales/GTM, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and execute the product roadmap, ensuring rapid iterations through streamlined feedback loops, automation, and reduced external dependency. A key responsibility is to expand Equinix's software practices and automation capabilities, particularly enhancing Colocation with new software-driven observability and automation.

This role requires proactive engagement with senior global leaders in a matrixed organization to collaboratively drive improvements and accelerate business growth, ensuring the product lifecycle is scalable, secure, agile, and adaptive to evolving technology. They will build and manage organizational capabilities to deliver impactful results, backed by continuous research and trend insights.

Responsibilities


  • Drive profitability and growth of the global data center and managed solutions product lines, building alignment across Colocation, Managed Solutions, (and legacy Metal) to foster ownership and accountability.
  • Shape a product vision and strategy for the integrated infrastructure portfolio, focused on meeting customer needs, market dynamics, and business objectives.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle-from ideation to market launch-ensuring products are developed with a forward-thinking approach to observability and automation for enhanced service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, operations, sales) to define product requirements and build roadmap plans that incorporate feedback loops for rapid development.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape; prioritize software-enabled capabilities and APIs that expand service offerings for Colocation and Metal.
  • Execute the product roadmap with internal stakeholders, evangelizing new product capabilities that address technology gaps, particularly in Colocation's software integration.
  • Partner with the Customer Experience Solutions Leader to assess current delivery methods, aligning on improvements in post-sales management, customer portals, and observability tooling.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to drive business simplification and enhance automation, scalability, and cost efficiency across Managed Solutions.
  • Manage product budgets, resource allocation, and timelines, ensuring efficient execution and the rapid development of automation-driven capabilities.
  • Guide sales and marketing teams in product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Lead a team of product managers, focusing on high-quality product delivery and the cultivation of a collaborative, customer-centered approach to infrastructure innovation.

Qualifications & Experience


  • 15+ years of experience at a high growth tech company leading a large-scale product management organization
  • Strong data center, software product development and product lifecycle leadership
  • Proven thought leadership in leading product management
  • Executive presence and demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing and collaborating in cross-functional environments
  • Demonstrated experience building a thriving culture aligned to Equinix values
  • Master's degree in Product Management, Business, or Technology area preferred
  • Effective global Product management and business leader who can build relationships across the organization and balance tradeoffs
  • Effective communicator with sufficient business acumen and operational experience to advise and influence the most senior executives across the company
  • Leadership capabilities to recruit talent and building a high-performance team
  • Deep background in product management, technology and industry trends including data center infrastructure
  • Customer focused and has a track record of building products and enabling infrastructure services with operational excellence
  • Ability to creatively solve problems with limited resources and input, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Foster the culture of agile development in a fast-paced environment with continuous product development and deployment
  • Think out of the box and help break the barriers to enable the team to go fast
  • Be the inspirational leader who empowers teams

* San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $342k - $428k - $514k per year
* California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $307k - $384k - $461k per year
* Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $292k - $365k - $438k per year

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
