Job Details Sr Healthcare Operations AnalystJob Description PRIMARY FUNCTION : The Sr Healthcare Business and Operations Analyst will turn data into actionable information and insights to drive business and operational decisions in assigned support areas. This is a unique blend between technical and business knowledge and skills. This role will work closely with operational and business leadership to undertand their analytics and business needs and function as a trusted analytics delivery partner to answer pertinent business questions using all available data assets. Enables successful adoption of analytics tools and requires advanced knowledge healthcare operations and the key performance indicators used to support the business. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Identify, develop and deliver analytical solutions that provide impactful insights and critical business decision support Use advanced knowledge of healthcare key performance indicators to identify drivers of physician enterprise, quality, patient satisfaction, and business/service line operations Manage client expectations and communicate plans for delivering solutions Present key findings and recommendations to improve business operations Use wide variety of analytical tools including data visualization and interactive discovery tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, etc.), MS Office applications, SQL programming, and statistical/mathematical programming tools (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS, python, etc.). Document definitions and structure of business data in order to ensure governance Develop trusting relationship with customers and become the "go to" resource for analytic capability Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the iSCORE values of Jefferson OTHER FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES Proven ability to develop basic data marts needed to efficiently query data Ability to proactively discover insights from unstructured information Work iteratively with customers to deliver superior results with limited supervision and ambiguous requests Excellent conceptualization, analytical and logic skills Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing. Ability to articulate and translate technical language to non-technical customers. Aptitude for gaining deep knowledge of the industry and business, and proactively using this knowledge to deliver meaningful results. Exemplifies teamwork Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure Strong customer service orientation Support service now ticket system as assigned Responsible for on call duties to support critical tickets EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS : Bachelors degree in the field of computer science, and finance, engineering, or information systems OR Bachelors degree in a healthcare related field with proven experience in developing and providing data insights in a technical environment.
