SUMMARY: The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the DAWSON team working with client contact(s). The PM is also responsible for high level planning of upcoming events and case management initiatives that are beneficial to the client and DAWSON. The PM works closely with the Program Manager to ensure the project deliverables meet the expectations and needs of the client. The PM will compile reporting and identify process improvements. Additionally, the PM is integral in assisting the Program Manager oversee client milestones and overall contract performance. The PM is a role model for DAWSON core values of Kuleana, Ohana, and Aloha.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Establish and/or improve a working environment conducive to positive morale, creativity, and teamwork.
  • Run daily operations and manage a team
  • Monitor time and attendance
  • Negotiate solutions, resolving conflicts and anticipating/handling critical situations
  • Monitor/provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, coaching, and disciplinary action
  • Track and approve project deliverables
  • Facilitate and participate in staff meetings
  • Serve as an on-location point of contact for all formal interface discussions with client
  • Assist Program Manager in identifying and designing process improvements
  • Assist Program Manager with coordinating and tracking of team travel
  • Occasional domestic travel required
  • Hiring and onboarding of personnel
  • Identify, track and report case management and readiness performance indicators that promote DAWSON's staff capabilities and excellence
  • Assist with creating training and process mapping for event services and case management
  • Attend and lead medical readiness events as required
  • Monitor and audit pre-event totals from the client to ensure DAWSON and subcontractor resources are planned appropriately.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as lead, point-of-contact for medical readiness and case management personnel and planning
  • Approve leave and coordinate schedule for case management staff
  • Manage, coordinate, and plan logistics for readiness events and case management staff


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Minimum 5 years leadership experience within Military medical readiness and non-medical case management role
  • Extensive experience working in a Military setting and working knowledge of the regulations and policies that apply to individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant role experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with client relations preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to multi-task, innovate, compromise, and solve problems
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Motivational team member and servant leader
