Overview

The Sales Manager is the person responsible for leading and guiding the sign shop salespeople. The daily routine changes every day but always includes coaching, professional relationships, listening, emotional control and the power to let go of daily control of accounts. The sales manager must have excellent communication skills and be able to explain themselves clearly. They also must be able to understand the needs of the market as well as their staff.


Responsibilities

Mentoring new sales staff

Designing a sales plan

Setting sales quotas

Developing relationships with new and existing customers

Reviewing the bid process

Prospecting with salesman new or old

Helping with collections


Qualifications

Sales experience

Good leadership skills

Good interpersonal skills

Excellent problem solving skills

Must be able to work under pressure
