How you will impact Ingevity: In the role of Supply Chain Business Intelligence Analyst, this position will collaborate with internal customers and development teams, manufacturing facilities, and third-party logistics providers to implement, continuously improve, and/or otherwise serve as lead subject matter expert for Ingevity's supply chain ERP platforms (SAP, EWM, TMS). The role will also be responsible for using ERP data to develop Ingevity's supply chain business intelligence by creating, tracking, and managing key performance indicators and cost models/forecasts for Ingevity's global supply chain network. Overall, the role will own critical components of Ingevity's supply chain to achieve a healthy, lean, and reliable supply chain by eliminating waste and inefficiencies while improving service through data driven insights. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with Business Transformation and Continuous Improvement teams to implement mid-to-large projects aimed at improving customer fulfillment and process stability.
- Ensure proper implementation of Ingevity ERP tools across business units and third-party locations.
- Manage and analyze crucial data to identify trends, resulting in process improvement and cost savings opportunities by developing, tracking, and managing key performance indicators for Ingevity's global supply chain network.
- Design and maintain state-of-the art self-service reporting tools (such as scorecards, reports, and visualization tools) to improve data integrity and streamline manual processes.
- Provide relevant data to support new product launches, capacity expansion, and other strategic initiatives or implementations to ensure the highest level of service quality is maintained by Ingevity.
- Create and use data modeling tools to perform gap-analysis and anticipate the needs for process accuracy, costs, and performance.
- Lead CI activities within Supply Chain and collaborate with other functional groups to identify and align best practices.
- Ad-hoc reporting and other duties as deemed necessary by management to support Ingevity's efforts related to building and maintaining a world-class, competitively advantageous supply chain.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Information systems, Finance, or other relevant business functions.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in data analytics, supply chain, or other related business role.
- AP experience or strong aptitude/experience working within other ERP platforms.
- Experience with Python, SQL, DAX, M, or other query and analytical language.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel/Power BI skills and knowledge of relational databases is a must.
- Aptitude for meaningful interpretation of data and formulation into actionable tasks.
- Experience with the creation or implementation of standard reporting and procedures.
