Position Title: Packaging Operator - Cheese Manufacturing
Wage: $21.50/Hour Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 3:54 PM - 4:06 AM; 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! Seize your opportunities! Packaging Operator - Cheese Manufacturing Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure product quality - Enter work orders and item codes, weigh and label blocks - Box cheese and perform quality control checks - Palletize and move finished products to staging areas - Close work orders and record shipment information - Perform setup, calibration, and minor maintenance on equipment - Sanitize equipment and packaging areas per procedures Requirements For Packaging Operator - Cheese Manufacturing: -High school degree or equivalent (GED), preferred. -Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably food manufacturing. -Lift 20-30lbs repetitively, flipping and lifting product above shoulder height and from waist down to floor level pallets -Strong operation control and monitoring skills. -Basic math skills for weight measurement and counts. -Ability to read and comprehend work-related documents and instructions. -Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office. -Forklift certified (training and certification provided internally). -Must be quality focused and able to follow GMP requirements and food safety requirements QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
