Job Summary:

Under the direction of the ECM Regional Director, and in consultation with the Quality and Innovations Director, the Quality Assurance Specialist (QA Specialist) will work to ensure that all chart documentation is accurate and in compliance with Managed Care Plans (MCP) and Joint Commission (TJC) standards. The QA Specialist will assist with ensuring the quality improvement in the ECM program by conducting chart audits and making sure that corrections are made in a timely manner. The QA Specialist will assume a wide range of tasks related to submission of documents to MCPs, tracking and following on chart required items. They will compile monthly reports, statistical reports and provide information as needed or requested by the ECM Leadership team. Requirements:

Less than a college degree.

  • At least 1 of the following:
  • 1 or more years of experience related to DMH documentation and/or maintaining charts in a clinic setting.
  • Valid California driver's license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization's insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.

Position Location: Commerce, CA (Home office location negotiable)

Position Status: Full Time

Salary Range: $21.50 - $27.90 per hour
