Summary of Job Description

Our Business Development Representative (BDR) positions will prepare you for an exciting and rewarding career in the highly competitive software sales arena. These positions will provide you with hands-on experience sourcing and qualifying leads within our Tax & Legal businesses while building product knowledge and sales skills. You will work with a market leader, partnering with a world-class sales organization to prospect into a wide-range of legal, corporate or government entities selling our industry recognized cloud solutions. The position offers a base salary and variable compensation that is directly related to your success. In addition, this position provides and extraordinary benefits package, and extensive training and career growth opportunities.

About the Role
  • Hit or exceed your monthly and annual targets and maintain consistently strong performance at 100% of your YTD goals
  • Hit or exceed your daily contact targets and activity metrics
  • Actively engage in the coaching process, partnering well with managers and individuals on your teams to share ideas and learn from each other
  • Accurately, and in a timely manner, log all activities and customer contacts in Salesforce
  • Consistently live the Thomson Reuters culture and values
  • Be an Agile Learner. Demonstrating the ability to rapidly learn new knowledge and acquire new skills

About You

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in lieu of a bachelor degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills (personable and professional)
  • Ability to conduct self in a professional manner
  • Agile learners - Ability to learn something new
  • Commitment to a schedule that coincides with the customer's work day
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate software programs such as Microsoft
  • Experience in CRM preferred
  • Motivated and competitive with a positive attitude

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $66,500 - $123,500.
This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
