Here's what you'll do:

  • Senior Associate will be an active, participating member of the Client's Business Partner
    Program
    * Evaluate business performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and
    metrics to drive informed decision-making and planning
    * Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of multiple divisions to ensure predictable,
    planned, and transparent performance
    * Manage key processes including project performance tracking and evaluation,
    customer, vendor and subcontractor contract management, equipment and resource
    utilization, procurement, business development, etc.
    * Engage with key business functions to build / improve processes and systems and enable staffing
    / structural recommendations to drive growth across the Company
    * Meet with Client's management and Divisional VPs to make key operational decisions and set
    strategic goals
    * Manage and report financial performance of the business with detailed transaction-level
    understanding of trial balance

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $120k - $130k, plus annual bonus and profits interest plans.

Hours: 40 hours/week - Must be willing to travel and be on the road 50% of the time working at project sites.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of five years' experience consisting of consulting, investment banking, or corporate finance with preference for exposure to construction or services-based industry
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, SQL queries, etc.) and have experience
    performing complex analytics and building financial models
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, build relationships / communicate, and solve
    problems interacting with individuals ranging from field personnel to operational leadership and
    executives and in a variety of situations requiring tact, judgment, patience and composure
  • Proven ability to quickly understand new businesses
  • Desire to understand the operational details, levers and drivers of the electric transmission,
    substation and distribution construction industry and work with field leadership and project
    managers on a daily basis
  • Interest spending time on job sites to develop relationships with field personnel and to better
    understand the business
  • Proven ability to hit challenging deadlines and willingness to work the hours necessary to get the
    job done correctly and on time
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Word. Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
    experience a plus
