The Hampton Inn Santa Monica is seeking a well-organized and detail-oriented individual to join it's Housekeeping Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, and stairwells in order to maintain the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and quality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • You will be lifting and sorting bundles of linen and work with the laundry to provide supplies to the room attendants.
  • Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants.
  • Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
  • Pull linen from linen chute and get prepped for pickup.
  • Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
  • Shampoo guest room/corridor carpet as assigned by supervisor.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
  • Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
  • You will be working with chemical cleaning products, and industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.


REWUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:



  • Previous Housekeeping experience is highly desired.
  • Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and respect the importance that impeccably clean guest room supplies have in a hotel.
  • You don't shy away from physical work and can lift linen bundles that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
