Job Title: Contract Manager One position is available in Arizona, preferably located in an area around Tucson or Yuma, AZ. This position is contingent upon contract award (expected to be made in March - May 2025) Business Service Line: Operations and Maintenance Position Summary: The Contract Manager will manage and oversee all aspects of the contract to which he/she is assigned. A successful candidate will identify and secure internal and external resources, interact with the client, manage schedules and budgets, ensure safe execution of field work, and deliver quality work product as defined by DAWSON, clients and regulatory agencies. The Contract Manager must be located in Arizona and be able to travel across the state. Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing daily aspects of the contract. Responsible for strategic planning, personnel management, subcontractor interface, customer relations, operational planning and management and reporting. Coordinates and supervises assigned project staff and subcontractors. Promptly notifies Corporate Management of all potential contract changes or risk to the project or Task Orders. Prepares written reports and other documents necessary for the completion of specific projects. Cultivates and maintains the necessary contacts with clients and regulatory agency personnel. Continuously monitors risks to the project to determine necessary resources, funding, or schedule changes to mitigate challenges. Must be able to respond to emergencies within 1 hour of notification. Ensure technical staff maintains proper certificates/licensure and safety trainings.
Qualifications:
Ten (10) years of experience with contracts of annual value greater than $2 Million. Experience managing Operations and Maintenance contracts. Certification in any of the following or similar: Project Management Professional certification, Certified Professional Contract Management certification, Certified Facilities Management certification, a Certified Construction Manager certification, or a building trade certification. Must be able to pass a thorough federal background check to gain badging access to federal buildings. Possess a valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting abilities and the ability to use resources at hand to fix problems. Excellent leadership ability. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal Must be able to review and edit reports and proposals Ability to delegate work and handle multiple projects Ability to proactively create, control, modify and manage budgets and schedules Ability to analyze and control project risks, both operationally and financially Proficient with standard Microsoft office tools
