Job Summary

As the Financial Analyst II, you will prepare monthly detail level rolling forecasts and review forecasts and budgets for accuracy. You will address and correct variances found.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of financial planning and analysis, budgeting / forecasting experience with a business unit

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Working knowledge using financial systems, including ERP, Data Warehouse Query, and planning software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in business unit financial support for a consumer goods or manufacturing company

  • Experience with ERP, Infor Syteline, BI, and BPC

  • Familiarity with financial modeling & profitability / cost analysis (including metrics such as NPV, IRR, ROI, etc.)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly Volume / Price / Mix analysis of sales activity and support overall performance analysis

  • Prepare month-end financial management reporting package with variance analysis commentary, trends, metrics, and reports for the Management team

  • Prepare business case in accordance with guidelines of New Product Development financial process, including expense and capital requirements

  • Support preparation of the annual budget and strategic plan

  • Develop ad hoc financial information, custom reports as support for business decisions

  • Deliver continuous process improvements and best practices to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the planning and reporting processes

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of time within North America

The payrange/rate of pay for this position is $57,00.00 - 92,900.00; base payoffered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
