The Human Resources internship offers a dynamic work environment that values growth and development for individuals interested in the field of Human Resources. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in daily HR operations and gain insight into recruiting, employee engagement and employee development. This position requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

The Human Resources intern performs a variety of administrative tasks, including but not limited to updating employee records, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to the coordination of company events and gain exposure to different facets of HR management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
*Works effectively with Company personnel, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetables and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions; addressing others by name, tittle or other respectful identifier, and; respecting the diversity of our work force in actions, words and deeds.
*Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks
*Screen resumes and applications.
*Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates.
*Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
*Address employee queries about benefits programs.
*Assist with internal recognition and wellness programs.
*Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies.
*Participate in organizing company events.
*Prepare onboarding materials and schedules.
*Assist with the annual benefits open enrollment and performance development process.
*Assist with updating and creating job descriptions.
*Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Canva documents.
*May be responsible for making meeting and travel arrangements.
*Maintain a satisfied level of internal customer service with employees and external vendors.
*Properly handle employee requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation.
*Committed to the protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and neighbors. Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our Environmental Management System (EMS).
*All other duties as assigned.
