DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will act as the primary receptionist for PennDOT's Central Office located in the Keystone Building, where your responsibilities will include warmly welcoming and guiding both in-person and telephone visitors. This role entails coordinating the escort of guests, employees, and visitors to their designated areas within the building, while also keeping an accurate daily log of visitors and ensuring the security of the reception area.

Your additional responsibilities will encompass time-stamping incoming mail and packages, organizing and facilitating meetings, managing travel arrangements, and reconciling travel expenses. You will also take on the role of training coordinator and oversee document retention processes. Furthermore, you will be tasked with ordering and managing the inventory of office supplies, updating employee contact lists, and serving as the automotive coordinator.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
