Location: Chesterfield, MO; Mt. Sterling, IL; Remote

Department: Sales

Reports To: Director of Retail - Consignment

Salary Range: $81,452 - $122,178 annually, plus bonus opportunity

This position will manage consignment customers such as Kroger and Costco. You will work with new and existing partners within the Dot Foods - consignment program to ensure an excellent customer experience. In addition to managing existing client relationships, you will also help establish new business relationships.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Conduct customer office calls to facilitate growth and maintain existing relationships.
  • Work with manufacturers and brokers to educate them on our consolidation program value, consignment, and overall customer relationship.
  • Participation, coordination, and leadership at retail industry events.
  • Leading various internal customer initiatives and solving complex problems so that Dot can more effectively service consignment customers.
  • Leading continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste


  • Collaborate with multiple departments and management teams internally and externally to increase service level and customer satisfaction.
  • Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.


YOU MUST HAVE



  • Bachelor's degree or comparable Dot work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Excellent presentation skills


YOU MAY ALSO HAVE



  • Strong strategic thinking abilities
  • Proven success managing customer or supplier relationships.
  • Ability to impact and influence customers at the senior level throughout the decision-making process


ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Travel - Occasional overnight travel required (4-7 nights per month). Ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane or train for customer/vendor calls, training or meetings.
