Quality and Safety Program Manager Quality Improvement Full Time 83062BR Job Summary The Quality and Safety (Q&S) Program Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Patient Safety for UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals (BCH) to manage quality and safety programming, planning, implementation of BCH projects. The Program Manager will oversee BCH's participation in Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS), a pediatric patient safety collaborative. This includes managing the activities of participation including safety data collection and submission, participation with network initiatives related to hospital acquired condition reduction, and implementation of SPS strategies at BCH to contribute to national and regional goal achievement. The Program Manager's responsibility is to maximize BCH San Francsico and BCH Oakland's alignment with SPS recommendations and best practices. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $118,700 - $213,400 (Annual Rate). The department provides improvement, safety science, program development, quality data, and external reporting expertise to the pediatric inpatient and outpatient enterprises. The divisions are made up of individuals with clinical and non-clinical backgrounds, and have skillsets in clinical quality improvement, project and causal analysis facilitation, program and project management, data analysis and interpretation, and data abstraction, and collaborates with individuals across many parts of the broader UCSF organization.
