Work Schedule: 100% FTE, day/evening shift. Rotating hours starting 7-8:00AM through 4:30PM Monday - Friday. Weekend, holiday and standby call rotations required. We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist Lead - Interventional to: Act as one of the principal radiologic technologists overseeing the technical operations required for the performance of routine and advanced procedures. Perform a variety of complex specialized tasks operating fluoroscopy, computed tomography, and ultrasonography equipment during vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures. Provide patient care within a broad range of health care needs in VIR, Neuro Endovascular procedures and Vascular Surgery. Develop and implement systems to assure the smooth and efficient flow of patients for procedures in Interventional Radiology (IR). Coordinate work assignments; review and update procedure manuals and protocols; assist in staff education, maintain competencies and training; perform proficiency testing; ensure daily quality controls and testing for all equipment. Qualifications Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred Work Experience 2 years of clinical experience Required 3 years of clinical experience Preferred 1 year of clinical experience in a leadership role Preferred Licenses & Certifications Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and valid Wisconsin Radiological License - ARRT (R) (VI) or (CV) Upon Hire Required CPR certification within 3 months Required Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion UW Health is committed to being a diverse, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
