Job Overview
The Senior Director of Investor Relations is a trusted contact for institutional investors and investment analysts and is responsible for providing the investment community with an accurate portrayal of the company's performance and prospects. This role ensures the business and financial strategy of TMUS is properly understood by Wall Street and that market expectations are aligned with company guidance and strategy. This No. 2 position under the SVP of Investor Relations oversees the investor relations teams and leads the preparation and supports successful execution of earnings calls and release of the company's financial and operating results and reports.
Un-carrier Responsibilities
- Maintains constant communications with Wall Street (sell-side analysts and investors) in support of the SVP, IR.
- Develops and executes consistent IR plan including conferences, roadshows, and other investor outreach.
- Follows and analyzes competitor results and general competitive developments and provide updates to senior management and Board of Directors.
- Participates in the preparation and release of the company's financial and operating results and reports, including Forms 10Q, 10K and the Annual Report. Prepares TMUS earnings calls including presentations and all relevant materials.
- Develops consistent equity story for TMUS that provides insights into the Company's strategy and financials, including development of slide decks, scripts, Q&A, and other materials.
- Critically reviews analysts' reports and models for consistency with guidance and company strategy, compiles and analyzes earnings consensus. Analyzes the shareholder structure of TMUS including targeting for IR outreach and developing goals for an "optimal" shareholder structure.

The Experience You'll Bring
- Required 7-10 years of IR experience in a large public company and/or equivalent experience on the sellside or buyside or relevant financial background (accounting, FP&A, banking).
- 7-10 years' experience working on complex problems and using data to develop and communicate answers/solutions.
- Influential leader who can effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Leadership experience within a large technology and customer facing organization. A hands-on leader; broadly shares responsibility and accountability of both routine and ad-hoc requests.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a high standard of written and oral communication. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship skills. Unquestionable integrity, credibility and character.
- Ability to cultivate, influence, and maintain positive relationships with internal customers and external investors and analysts. Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across an organization to achieve common goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high pressure, constantly shifting environment.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required; Master's/Advanced degree or CFA preferred.

Base Pay Range: $232,600 - $314,600
Corporate Bonus Target: 35%

The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
