Your tasks The purpose of this position is to directly supervise all activities and personnel on his or her assigned shift; including maintenance, distribution, production, quality, mold storage, and tool shop. He or she is responsible for all team members working in a safe manner per GF policies and procedures. He or she is responsible for ensuring their assigned shift executes work which meets or exceeds quality expectations. He or she is responsible for working with the supervisor/manager of the areas to understand the priorities of the shift and execute against these priorities to meet business expectations. Ensures all team members are working safely per GF policies and procedures. This includes safety incident management and documentation. Ensures work product meets or exceeds quality expectations. Provide input to and execute the production schedule to meet customer requirements including flowing resources and training development. Directly supervises the activities of all personnel assigned to his/her shift. Deploy on-shift technical resources to complete machine change overs, process troubleshooting, and equipment troubleshooting/repair. Escalate externally to management or technical resources per defined escalation plan. Write up and deliver progressive discipline documentation as needed to shift team members. Facilitate/participate in established shift change over meetings with oncoming FSL (+QDIP) Complete and deliver Performance Development annual evaluations. Complete established Leader Standard Work and ensure team members do the same. Promote team member engagement and enablement whenever possible. Other duties as assigned. Your profile Minimum of three to five years' experience as a lead person or other supervisory position in manufacturing environment.
