Research Core Facilities Job Description
The Bioinformatics and Analytics Core (BAC) at the University of Missouri is seeking a talented and engaging individual for our Data Scientist opening. The primary purpose of this position is to conduct bioinformatics, data science, statistical analyses and develop computational tools, databases, and quantitative methods for clients of the core. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: This is an on-site position with potential for a hybrid remote work component. Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Biology, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Statistics, or another STEM field and at least 3 years of prior experience conducting research in data science, and bioinformatics. Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $61,008 - $85,000 per year Application Materials
