Overview

Conducts investigations, inquiries, review, evaluation, and resolution of documents for Donor Operations and Biologics and provides donor relations support.



Responsibilities

    Maintains donor records to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion
  • Performs operational audits to ensure accuracy of donor records or blood products
  • Resolves problems related to donor records
  • Investigates ABO exceptions, pending reviews, and determines if quarantines or deferrals can be deactivated
  • Provides donor relations support.


Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent and six months to one (1) year related experience and/or training.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

None

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • Knowledge and understanding of all related SOPs and manuals appropriate for job functions
  • Ability to read, understand and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service, communication and professionalism towards all internal and external customers
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to organize work for timely completion
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand standard English
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Skill in operating office equipment
  • Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
