The Senior Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the management and administration of a variety of project tasks and deliverables to include projects associated with SIOS, and other projects as assigned. The position will provide a wide variety of support functions to the SIOS team and other areas as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Assists the SIOS team and other related department team members in the implementation of programs or projects, including planning, collaborating with project team members, and coordinating project activities
  • Assist the Implementation Managers in active project work groups and committees. Facilitates meetings as necessary, contributes to planning, project documentation, and collaborates with project stakeholders to collect and disseminate project information as directed by the Project manager or SIOS leadership
  • Assists the SIOS Team to participate in process improvements activities to define standard tools, job aides, and project governance
  • Utilizes Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Visio, MS SharePoint and MS Project
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree (4 years of project/process coordination experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree)
  • 2+ years of experience in project/process coordination
  • 1+ years of experience in process management or project management
  • Basic level of proficiency with MS SharePoint, MS Project, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting the Project Managers on multiple projects with tight deadlines, while paying close attention to the details of all the deliverables
  • Proven ability to work in an environment with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive data with discretion



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Degree and/or experience in business, customer service or healthcare related field
  • Experience communicating with peers internal and external to the organization
  • Proven display of good judgment and collaborative problem-solving skills

The hourly range for this role is $23.70 to $46.35 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
