Facility Manager Employment Type: Contract Yoh Scientific is actively recruiting for a Clinical/Scientific Project Manager (Clinical/Scientific Facilities Manager) to work a contract assignment in Emeryville, CA! Title: Project Manager / Facilities Manager Location: Emeryville, CA (onsite). May need to travel in the east bay region for other clinics. Duration: 3-6 months, possibly extended Work Schedule: M-F, 8a - 5p Start Date: as soon as possible Pay Rate Range: $48/hour - $60/hour, based on experience Research, develop and produce financial and management reports, variance analysis, market and strategic business analysis and related projects in support of business development and strategic planning. Analyze market potential and economics underlying new program proposals. Evaluate data; analyze performance of existing programs, develop business plan projections for proposed programs. Develop methodologies for tracking and reporting future actual performance of new programs against plan.
Responsibilities:
- Access and analyze institutional and professional cost and revenue data, market share data and clinical volume data to evaluate and project potential performance and risk associated with multi-year business plans for new or expanding business development plans.
- Conduct market, financial, demographic and clinical utilization research from various software resources to support business development and strategic planning projects and presentations.
- Coordinate with department staff to develop regular quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports to performance to plan and oversee the production and distribution of these reports.
- Develop and maintain databases on cost and profitability indicators to track and support program planning and assessment process.
- Develop detailed, multi-year business plan information for proposed programs including goals, specific actions, timelines, metrics and measures for on-going tracking, investment requirement, and economic performance over time.
- Document financial planning and market analysis findings including underlying assumptions and key methodology notes.
- Extract relevant data elements from various systems and other sources for business planning and analysis including clinical volume, facility metrics, reimbursement methods, financial performance/projections, market share, population demographics and projections.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a clinical or life science-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
- Clinical/Sciencie experience in researching, developing and producing financial and management reports, variance analysis, market and strategic business analysis and related projects in support of business development and strategic planning. Experience in analyzing market potential and economics underlying new clinical/science program proposals. Experience in evaluating data; analyzing performance of existing programs, developing business plan projections for proposed clinical/science programs. Experience in developing methodologies for tracking and reporting future actual performance of new science/clincial programs against plan.

- Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area (PowerPoint and Excel)
- Knowledge of financial concepts such as capital budgeting, discounted cash flow, financial statement analysis and financial forecasting
- Knowledge of TSI decision support systems, database and other software tools
- Organized, fast pace, adaptable to quick changes, and ability to use technology efficiently
