This role manages supply chain financial planning analysis and control for our North America region. This will include oversight of our largest manufacturing site at Oconee (West Union, SC) and our large presence at Asia and Mexico based contract manufacturers in the Electronics manufacturing space.Core activities include the following:
Development, analysis, and reporting of long-range financial plans, mid-range annual budgets and periodic forecast updates for North America Global Operations (NAM GO). Manages, prepares, administers, and directs the control of the NAM Global Operations annual budget. Partner with NAM GO division and department leaders on expense adherence to budget. Manages proper inventory and capital expenditure reporting for NAM. Provides business partnership and accountability with NAM Global Operations (GO) team to ensure results are reported on time, within compliance, and are met or exceeded. Performs role of lead compliance manager for NAM GO.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manage Oconee finance team (controller + analyst) and other NAM reporting areas. Develop and drive actions to drive cost optimization, revenue growth, and profitability in NAM. Partner with departments (e.g., Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Product) to align financial plans with business goals. Serve as a financial advisor for cross-functional initiatives and projects ensuring plans are developed to meet and exceed site, regional and company targets.
Provide FP&A leadership on Budget, Forecasts, and Outlooks and variance analysis of Actuals for NAM Global Operations and analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership and stakeholders. Ensure timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Establish best practices and continuously improve financial planning processes and tools. Ensure internal and external audits of NAM sites and vendors are run successfully. Manages NAM compliance reporting for SoX and Internal Audit. Support audits, due diligence, and financial assessments as needed. Leads specialty areas of SoX inventory reporting on inventory controls, price-to-cost, and excess and obsolete Leads for NAM GO Finance on Enterprise Planning tool optimization and usage as Subject Matter Expert (SME). Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in FP&A workflows and systems. Implement scalable solutions to enhance reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness Oversees NAM portion of annual cost updating Controls NAM Cap Ex budgeting and reporting Develops NAM finance team talent for rotation, progression, and succession
Experience: This position requires 10+ years of related experience. Management Reporting and Financial Analysis in a manufacturing environment. Strong experience in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Experience: 15+ years of related experience including direct managerial support of Business Lines and Supply Chain including business level advisory, performance control, and decision making partnership. Prefer Electronics manufacturing experience. Prefer experience using Essbase or similar Oracle cube based reporting platform.
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. CMA or MBA, preferred.
