Patient Care Technician, Acute Orthopedics - Full time night shift

Summary:

Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensuring patient safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

* Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
* Feeding patients, measuring and recording their food and liquid intake
* Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors.
* Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds.

Requirements:

Education/Skills

* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

* Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

* BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
