Job Overview
The Senior Product Manager, Broadband is a key leader driving the strategic vision, development, and delivery of broadband-related products, with a strong focus on geocoding technologies and eligibility management. This role combines advanced technical expertise, market insight, and customer empathy to shape products that expand connectivity, improve accessibility, and optimize service coverage. The ideal candidate is a strategist, problem-solver, and collaborative leader capable of handling complex technical and operational frameworks to deliver impactful broadband solutions.
This position involves working with cross-functional teams to create and refine eligibility frameworks, leverage geospatial data, and deliver user-centric products that align with technical feasibility and business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing funding, driving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders to achieve both technical innovation and customer satisfaction.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Strategic Product Ownership: o Owns broadband product development end-to-end, focusing on geocoding solutions and eligibility tools. o Creates and maintains a clear roadmap for broadband product innovation. o Conducts market research and competitive analysis specific to broadband access and geospatial technology trends. 2. Eligibility and Geocoding Expertise: o Designs frameworks and algorithms for service eligibility based on geospatial and demographic data. o Partners with data scientists to analyze broadband coverage gaps and potential areas for expansion. o Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines for eligibility and broadband deployment. 3. Customer-Centric Approach: o Develops broadband-specific VOC (Voice of Customer) feedback loops to refine product design. o Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to understand and address underserved communities. o Advocates for customer-first innovations in eligibility and geocoding processes. 4. Technical Leadership and Delivery: o Leads Agile teams to deliver broadband platform improvements, including geospatial tools and APIs. o Collaborates with DevOps teams to integrate eligibility systems into the broader broadband architecture. o Prioritizes technical investments in geospatial data quality, system scalability, and compliance. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: o Partners with commercial, product, and technical teams to support broadband go-to-market strategies. o Engages with government and industry stakeholders on broadband deployment initiatives. o Develops training materials and support tools for teams leveraging eligibility and geospatial solutions. 6. Performance Metrics and Analysis: o Develops dashboards and reporting systems to measure product success in coverage and eligibility. o Conducts cost-benefit analysis to optimize geospatial and eligibility investments. o Tracks and communicates the impact of broadband products on customer accessibility and satisfaction. ________________________________________ QUALIFICATIONS 1. Education: o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, GIS, or related fields. Advanced degree preferred. 2. Experience: o 7+ years of relevant product management experience, including geospatial and eligibility-related roles. o Strong background in geocoding, GIS technologies, and broadband deployment strategies. o Experience working with regulatory compliance for broadband and telecommunications services. 3. Skills: o Advanced knowledge of geospatial technologies, APIs, and integration patterns. o Proficiency in tools like SQL, Tableau, and geospatial platforms (e.g., ArcGIS, Google Maps API). o Strong communication skills to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders. o Expertise in Agile methodologies and tools for managing cross-functional delivery teams. 4. Base Pay Range: $130,900 - $236,200
