The Supply Chain Supervisor will manage the planning department for scheduling the demand according to the customer's delivery date and when it should be manufactured based on an elaborated production plan.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provides supervisory work direction for team, focused on maintaining steady workflow and productivity and resolving operational decisions. The team is comprised of salaried professionals and hourly operational employees in the areas of Scheduling, Customer Service, Shipping, Receiving and Aftermarket.

  • Creates and communicates Oracle based updates and report plant delivery performance.

  • First point of contact for all customer/sales related communication.

  • Support of Plant Management Review objectives which include EHS, Inventory management, Supply Chain management, On time delivery, Cost savings, Management of premium freight and Quality.

  • Work with Donaldson corporate support teams such as but not limited to Product management, procurement, revenue recognition, customer service,

  • Assists in budget development and manage day-to-day elements of the budget. Additionally provides fiscal oversight of departmental expenses.

  • Communicates with within own department, and parties external to the department which may include clients or partners depending upon the job function/organization

  • Responsible for making adjustments or recommended enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of team and achieve direct report Management Review (MR) targets.

  • Provides primary input to hiring, terminating, promotion, performance and rewards decisions for direct reports. Responsible for payroll completion weekly.

  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution. Typically requires broad job knowledge of technical or operational practices within assigned discipline.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • 2 years inventory control, production planning, purchasing and/or procurement in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree

  • Experience with Oracle or ERP systems

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
